..the end user

My friend, Nick, whom I mentioned before about his LifeHacker fame, is starting a new blog about how to put your computer to work for you. He says, "We don't create software or computer hardware we simply use it...we are the end users."

Take a look!

Electric Swirls

How great is this for a home office? I saw this awesome multi outlet at High Fashion Home in Houston last weekend. I was there just for giggles and was so amazed by everything that I immediately became depressed.

Design by Joris Laarman.

iGoodies

SoundClip directs sound from iPhone toward you to increase the clarity and volume for movies and music.

A tuned conical deflection chamber designed to make the audio from your iPhone clearer and also slightly louder. Sound waves are reflected toward you, instead of away, so you feel more involved in your game, movie, or music.

.. and for less than $8. Loves it.

iPhone Coasters! How funny is that?

Daily Mugshot

DailyMugshot -- my favorite iPhone application.

It starts out real lame. I tried to keep the same face for seamless transitions, but that got boring so it's gets a little more spicy as the show goes on...

Tokyo Flash

This isn't news for anyone who regularly reads Boing Boing, but these futueristic watches from Tokyo Flash are simply perfect for channeling your inner-nerd.

After seeing Daft Punk last Summer in Monterrey, Mexico (A!-MAZE-ZING!)I'm wildly attracted to these robotic time pieces. Jon's been itchin' for something like this (wink wink, Mr. Covington.. graduation gift?). Each watch has its own unique, complex system of telling time. If you hate SUDOKU, move along.
