Wrap it Up

Hey-O. Christmas is over. Was yours good? Mine was great. Did the three Christmases thing and it went smoothly. Got to see tons of family, eat tons of goodies and get home at a decent hour so I could chill the eff out.

Just wanted to make a quick post about this bow-thing -- I saw it on some blog (don't remember) but it's obviously a recycled Target bag. Fun and silly.. just like my nephew Carter.

Crane Tree

Last weekend I found a baby Christmas tree in the trunk of my car. I wish I'd be lying when I say it's been shoved in there for over year and I had completely forgotten about it.

Instead of buying new ornaments and things,-- I'm trying to own less stuff --I made a bunch of white paper cranes and pipe cleaner snowflakes.

Temping Ain't So Bad

Yesterday I got hooked up with delicious treats. First, someone from the mail room gave me some dark chocolate with a cute wrapper (this person said they hated dark chocolate. What a suspicious character!).

AND there was a huge delivery of about 30 slow-cooked briskets. I got one because someone in accounts payable has the sickies. It was literally 20 lbs, which is more meat than I care to discuss.

Black Friday

With everyone freaking out over the economy, how could I possibly go out and spend a bunch of money on cheesy Christmas decorations? I enjoy the Christmas season, but I personally like to keep it simple around my own house (mostly because I could be packing it all up the moment I'm offered a bitchin' job). I don't want to lug around a bunch of useless crap, so I made this little spark of cheer for $3.00, with string, white pipe cleaners and bells.
